Abhiishek Mohta, Top Casting Director and Television Personality, Celebrates Diwali with Family

Renowned actor and casting director Abhiishek Mohta, widely recognized as one of the top 10 casting directors in the Indian television industry, celebrated Diwali this year with family and friends at his Rohini apartment in Delhi. 

Known for his exceptional contributions to television and OTT platforms, Mohta took time off to embrace the warmth and joy of the Diwali festivities at home, surrounded by loved ones.

This Diwali holds special significance for Mohta, as it marks his first celebration as a father. On October 12, 2024, Abhiishek and his wife, Vani Mohta, welcomed their son, Khyo Mohta, at a private hospital in Begusarai, Bihar. 

The couple, who celebrated their wedding earlier this year, are overjoyed to have baby Khyo join their family, adding an extra glow to their Diwali festivities.

Mohta, a private person known for maintaining a low profile on social media, opened up briefly about the joy of fatherhood and how meaningful it was to spend Diwali with his family. 

The new father expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of love from fans, friends, and industry colleagues who have been sending their blessings for baby Khyo.

With a career that includes casting credits for high-profile projects like Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran on Colors TV, Crime Patrol 2.0, Amazon Prime’s The Terminal List, as well as projects for MX Player and Jio Cinema, Mohta’s achievements in casting and acting continue to be celebrated in the industry. 

Abhiishek Mohta recently completed work on a short film for Jio Cinema’s upcoming movie “AND YOU,” where he collaborated with popular internet personality, Ahsaas Channa.

This Diwali, however, was all about family, marking a bright beginning to Mohta’s new journey as a father.

The entire Mohta family gathered in Delhi for a traditional Diwali celebration, bringing even more light and warmth to an already joyous season. Fans can look forward to seeing Abhiishek Mohta continue to shine both on and off screen as he embraces his latest role—as a proud father to baby Khyo.
