Conceptualized by RCME Club Trainer Tehmina Khandwala and brought to life under the stewardship of Rotary Club of Mumbai Elegant’s President Alka Chaturvedi, the event has transformed St. Joseph School Ground, Juhu, into a vibrant showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage. As the event draws to a close on December 22nd, from 11 am to 9 pm, Mumbaikars are invited to immerse themselves in this unique celebration of creativity.

The first day of Artisan Sutra featured over 70 skilled artisans from across the country, each presenting their unique crafts, ranging from traditional textiles to contemporary artworks. A standout attraction was the fashion show curated by Sunita Bhuyan, which beautifully blended traditional designs with modern fashion, captivating a large audience.

Musical performances by SufiNama and The Young Drug added a dynamic auditory dimension to the event, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. These performances highlighted the rich diversity of India’s musical heritage.

Visitors also engaged in a variety of interactive workshops, providing educational experiences in arts and crafts. The food pavilion, with its assortment of regional delicacies, ensured a complete cultural experience for all senses.

As Artisan Sutra gears up for its final day, visitors can anticipate another day filled with immersive arts, music, and culinary delights. The event is an ideal destination for families, art enthusiasts, and anyone looking to experience the beauty of Indian culture.
