KVN Productions Unveiled the Soulful Folk Anthem “Shiva Shiva” from KD – The Devil

KVN Productions presented “Shiva Shiva”, a captivating Kannada folk song from the much- awaited Pan-India film KD – The Devil, directed by the visionary Prem, which is now the new sensation in Pan-India.

This enchanting anthem pays homage to the rich tradition of Kannada folk music, merging its vibrant roots with cinematic grandeur.

Composed by the maestro Arjun Janya and brought to life through the lens of cinematographer William David, the song is a masterpiece of cultural depth and artistic brilliance. Featuring stellar vocalists—Kailash Kher and Prem (Kannada), Vijay Prakash (Tamil and Telugu), Pranavam Shashi (Malayalam), and Kailash Kher alongside Saleem Master (Hindi)—each rendition carries its regional essence while preserving the soulful spirit of the song.

 

The lyrical excellence of “Shiva Shiva” is attributed to acclaimed writers Manjunath BS (Kannada), Madhan Karky (Tamil), Chandra Bose (Telugu), Raqueeb Alam (Hindi), and Mankombu Gopalkrishnan (Malayalam). Released under the renowned Anand Audio label, the song is a celebration of cultural diversity and the universal appeal of Indian folk music. It is now available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The grand release of the song was marked by Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn, who launched it on December 24th at 11:04 PM. Esteemed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj (Leo, Vikram, Master) amplified the release by sharing the song on his social media. Additionally, the Telugu version was unveiled by celebrated director Harish Shankar (Gabbar Singh, DJ, Ustaad Bhagat Singh), making the event a grand spectacle across the industry.
