Shivom Mishra is a name that resonates with social service, spirituality, and unwavering dedication to the nation. As the Brand Ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Mission and President of Sanatan Sewa Nyas, he has inspired thousands through his relentless efforts to preserve Indian culture, serve society, and promote Sanatan Dharma. His journey is a remarkable blend of spirituality, leadership, and humanitarian commitment.
Born on February 4, 1996, in his maternal ancestral village Kanhaur, Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, Shivom Mishra grew up deeply rooted in tradition and culture. His paternal roots trace back to Rampur Khaghal village in Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh.
He is the eldest of three brothers. His younger brother Acharya Ramchandrdas Ji is a respected spiritual leader and the successor of Padma Vibhushan Swami Rambhadracharya Ji, Tulsi Peethadhishwar of Chitrakoot. His youngest brother, Shri Om Mishra, also carries forward the family’s cultural and religious values.
Shivom’s parents, Sushil Ambika Prasad Mishra and Mrs. Renu Devi Mishra, played a vital role in shaping his values. His wife, Mrs. Reena Mishra, is a well-known spiritual orator devoted to spreading religious teachings and bhakti traditions.
Shivom completed his schooling in Surat, Gujarat, and went on to pursue a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. His leadership qualities emerged early—in 2012, while in 10th grade, he won the “Vanche Gujarat” competition, receiving honors from the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra
Modi.
In 2014, Shivom Mishra founded the Jan Seva Yuva Sangathan, a youth-led movement that united thousands of young Indians for social service and the promotion of Sanatan values. His commitment soon gained national recognition.
In 2015, he was appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Mission by Swami Rambhadracharya Ji. His impactful speech at the National Hindu Convention in Goa emphasized the need for Dharma Yoddhas (spiritual warriors) rather than just social workers.
The following year, he established the Tapti Vandana Seva Samiti in Surat, initiating large-scale river cleaning drives and worship of the sacred Tapti River. In the same year, he became the National President of the All India Hindu Youth Front, where he actively participated in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and opposed religious extremism, even enduring arrests for his activism.
Shivom Mishra has been at the forefront of many national movements:
On August 5, 2020, Shivom Mishra was among the 100 dignitaries invited to the historic Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan ceremony in Ayodhya, standing alongside RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other prominent leaders.
Apart from social and religious contributions, Shivom is also the Director of the Indo-European Business Council, an appointment made during the G-20 Summit. In this role, he works to promote Sanatan Dharma and foster global brotherhood across more than 100 countries.
When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, Shivom Mishra’s organizations took the lead in relief efforts. Over 600,000 ration kits were distributed, along with PPE kits, sanitizers, and medicines. Free meal services were arranged in multiple districts, helping countless families survive the crisis.
Through Sanatan Sewa Nyas, Shivom played a historic role during the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in 2023, distributing sacred commemorative kits to over 11,000 guests. These included silver coins, saligrams, copper plates, sacred waters, and saffron shawls—symbols of devotion and unity.
But perhaps one of the most courageous and emotionally moving moments of his journey came in April 2025, after the tragic Pahalgam attack, in which several Hindus were martyred. In a gesture that shook the conscience of the nation, Shivom Mishra, along with his wife, performed a 3.5-hour long hawan at the heart of Kashmir—Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
This was not just a religious act, but a bold spiritual defiance against terrorism. For the first time in the history of independent India, Lal Chowk witnessed:
The act was not only unprecedented but also deeply emotional for Hindus across the nation, as it sent a strong message that those martyred in the Pahalgam attack would never be forgotten. Shivom Mishra’s gesture was both a tribute to the martyrs and an open challenge to the terrorists who tried to sow fear in the valley.
His courage did not go unnoticed. The event received the support and acknowledgement of India’s Home Minister and senior Central Ministers, who praised this bold initiative as a landmark act of faith and patriotism. For many, this moment marked a new chapter in the spiritual and cultural assertion of Hindus in Kashmir, strengthening the belief that truth and dharma always prevail over fear and violence.
This extraordinary act has been etched in history as a turning point of spiritual resilience, proving that the voice of Sanatan Dharma can resonate even in the most sensitive and turbulent regions of the country.
Shivom Mishra’s life is a testimony to the power of dedication, faith, and service. From being the Brand Ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Mission to leading Sanatan Sewa Nyas as its President, his journey reflects a balance of spirituality and social responsibility.
Through his actions, he continues to inspire millions of youth to embrace Sanatan Dharma, serve society, and stand firm in the face of challenges. With his leadership, Shivom Mishra is not just shaping the present but also laying the foundation for a stronger and more spiritually enriched India.
