Jai Dharti Maa Foundation works with the objective of promoting organic farming in rural areas and transforming wastelands into fertile landscapes through government initiatives for tribal communities and enhancing the livelihood of farmers. During 15 years, the Foundation has been dedicated to environmental protection, rural development and modern agricultural practices.
Ranjit Kumar and Ravi Kumar Nishad have been awarded the Bharat Bhushan award for their contribution to organic farming as well as fruit and flower farming in Dhanbad. This honour has brought prestige to both Jharkhand and Jai Dharti Maa Foundations.
The Foundation’s mission is focused on ensuring that farmers in Jharkhand and across the country have access to all necessary resources so that India can expand its agricultural efforts globally. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the members of Jai Dharti Maa on receiving this national honour. Tribals, farmers, women and youth have committed to work diligently, excel in agricultural training and follow the guidance given by Ravi Nishad. Prominent members of the foundation include Sudhir Hemram, Mohammed Shamsher Ali (Raju) B. K. Sinha, Ritesh Sao, Rohit Kewat, Duan, Deepak, Amit and Hasan Ramza. The programme included speeches by distinguished guests including Padmashri Dr. Ram Chet Chaudhary of Participatory Rural Development Foundation, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and Mrs. Yayum Gangak, Founder of Siru Rijo Tea and prominent businessman of Arunachal.
